Collegiate Bridle Care Guide
Collegiate Bridlewear is crafted from the finest European leather, tanned to perfection and finished in rich detail. All fittings are made from high quality stainless steel or brass.
Leather must always be left to dry naturally. Regularly check leather and stitching for signs of stress and replace if necessary. Don not use excessive amounts of oil – this can be just as damaging as using none at all.
- Treat item before use with 2-3 light coats of oil with a brush or sponge
- Leave to dry between coats
- Repeat until leather feels soft and supple
Keep leather products clean and moisturised after every use. Wipe off any built up dirt or sweat with a damp sponge then condition. Allow to dry. Apply a light coat of leather cream or balm to keep your bridlewear looking and feeling good as new.
